It is temporarily not required to apply during the period from 20 December 2025 to 31 January 2026 for overflight permission in connection with transportation of weapon unless the weapon shall be transported on behalf of the Danish Defense or the Danish Police or foreign state’s Defense or Police (state flights). Neither is it necessary to apply for overflight permission if parts of weapons or dummy weapons are to be transported.

Operations over Danish territory with foreign civil registered aircraft exclusively used for state purposes of a non-commercial nature (foreign state aircraft) are subject to prior permission. Applications for such flights shall be submitted by the relevant state’s diplomatic representation in Denmark to Naviair via https://www.naviair.dk/for-customers/diplomatic-clearance.

Danish civil-registered aircraft that are used exclusively for State purposes of a non-commercial nature (thus Danish civil State aircraft) must submit a notification to the Danish Transport Authority by e-mail at info@trafikstyrelsen.dk and to Naviair by e-mail at diplomatic@naviair.dk.
